That's the key question for us new folks isn't it? Spend your time scraping and bowing before agents, editors and publishers, or publish on Amazon and cross your fingers. (Just read 'Hunters Moon', BTW)

Unfortunately, JW, I think that sums it up. This industry is a gamble no matter what route you take to publication.
