Thursday Thirteen #12

Thirteen Nicknames for Saber

I saw this one someone else’s TT list and I thought it was cute. It’s funny how we all have a bunch of different names for our cats or dogs and how they always know who we mean when we call them by a different name.

1. Sabe
2. Sabey
3. Sabey Baby
4. Saber Doots
5. Saber Nation
6. Pumpkin Muffin
7. Mommy’s Boy
8. Cyber
9. Cyber Pup
10. Pupster
11. Sabling
12. Sabing
13. Super Pup

The list goes on. It's a wonder he knows his name at all, I hardly ever use the real one.

Saber is ADORABLE!

Isn't that funny how animals (and babies) respond to all those names. They just KNOW. LOL!

Funny how my dog used to know I was talking to him when I said "no, no! Bad dog!!"

I won't tell you what I call my dog. The cleanest name is "Psycho". She knows that's her name. LOL.

LMAO. We have pets that don't have names. The last hermit crab we got, we call "The New Guy." LOL

LOL. My dog was named Charcoal, but she was always called Chark, or Chark Bark, or Chark Snark, or Littlest Pup, or Littlest, or Charcoal Snarkoal, etc, etc, etc. I guess we all do this!

yeah...I call my daughter and my dog "Punky Doodle".

They both answer to it.

I bet I could come up with a list like this for my dog, too. She reponds to everything! Cute pooch!

LOL. We were giving our parents a hard time the other day. It was bad enough when they got the names of us kids mixed up, but then they started calling us by the dog's name and visa versa. Traumatized us, but I'm not sure what it did to the dog!

Thanks everbody, Saber is a good boy, and usually even when I call him 'bad dog' he wags his tail because he knows I'm a big softy and I can't stay mad at him for long.

I have nicknames for the kids too - as a rule we call them Fluffy and Snowball. They both respond to Stinky and Kid and I call my daughter Madam.

Love your TT header and doggy. We frequently call Squeaky "Pig Cat" and "Cry Baby" as she is often both. Another cat we had as kids was named Festus Hagen. He knew he was in trouble if we used his full name. *grin*

Festus - I love that! LOL.

Hi Grace!

Saber's 9 this year. His birthday is July 31st. His an old boy, but he still plays like a puppy [now and then - in between power naps of course]
